Pull and reset
Solar Panel Removal and Reinstallation in Worth
Modules off before the shingles come up, back on after the new roof, and making power again before our truck pulls away.
New Roof Needed. Solar Sitting on Top of It.
Short version: nobody can shingle a roof that has an array bolted across it. Somebody has to take the modules down, babysit them while the roof gets done, and rebuild the system so it runs like it did. That is detach and reset, and it is most of what Solar Panel Removal Worth does all season. Step one is a careful power-down and disconnect, because nothing gets unbolted while it is live. Then modules, rails and conduit come off. Each module gets a tag tied to its slot and a line on our inventory sheet, so it goes back right where it lived. While the shingle crew works, everything rides out the reroof in storage, away from ladders, wheelbarrows and weather. Once the new roof is nailed, we set new mounts, re-flash every roof penetration, rebuild the rails, hang the modules and reconnect. Then comes the test. A reset is not finished in our book until the array is producing, and you get a record of the job start to finish. Got a reroof coming on a Worth bungalow or anywhere close by? Ring us before the roofer shows, not after the dumpster lands in the driveway.
What Comes With a Pull and Reset
Arrays differ. These pieces show up on nearly every one.
Before shots and a reading
Layout, wiring and a production number captured ahead of any wrench work.
Careful power-down
System shut down and disconnected properly before one bolt turns.
Modules, rails, conduit off
The whole array comes down so the shingle crew gets a bare deck.
Tagged and logged
Every module marked to its slot, every bracket counted. Nothing wanders off.
Stored through the reroof
Gear kept out of harm's way and out of the weather until the roof is ready.
New mounts, new flashing
Fresh attachments and flashing at each penetration, sealed to the roofing details.
Rebuilt and rewired
Modules hung back in their original slots, rails set, connections remade.
Production check and records
System switched on, output confirmed and the job documented before we leave.
Three Stages, Start to Finish
Number it
You ring us with the module count, the roof date and who holds title to the system, you or a leasing company. Leased? Read your lease agreement or check with the leasing company before anything moves. A locked-in price comes back over the phone, most times inside 48 hours.
Strip it
The morning the roofer needs a bare deck, we power the array down, take it all off the roof, tag it, log it and haul it to storage.
Rebuild it
With the new roof nailed, new mounts and flashing go in, modules return to their slots, wiring gets reconnected and we keep testing until the array makes power.
Why Worth Homeowners Hand Us the Solar End
This is the whole gig
Pulling and resetting arrays is the main work here, not a favor squeezed between other jobs.
Zero missing pieces
Tags plus an inventory sheet mean every module and bracket shows up on reset day.
Numbers both ways
A reading before the pull and a test after the rebuild, so you know output is back.
- Power-down first
- Slot-tagged modules
- Fresh flashing
- Output confirmed
